Kristine Rodriguez, mama of two and a Bravo TV superfan, is the knitter/founder of Declarative. While finishing her graphic design degree at the Rhode Island School of Design, she discovered the knitting machine in an elective class. This turned out to be a game changer, and knitwear has been her path ever since. In 2014, Kristine launched the sustainable knitwear line Declarative, which she currently handcrafts out of her cozy Seattle studio. Using spools of yarn and her Brother knitting machine, she thoughtfully knits each garment, one row at a time. Declarative has since shown during NY and LA Fashion Week. Kristine has also been featured in the Huffington Post, Our Maker Life, and Teen Vogue as a designer to watch and sweater expert.
